In Indonesia, Pita Putih Indonesia (WRA Indonesia) heard from over 70,000 young people for the What Young People Want survey in 2023 in collaboration with The Partnership for Maternal, Newborn and Child Health, World Health Organisation. Since then, PPI has coordinated advocacy activities in Jakarta and several provinces on gender equality and adolescent reproductive health, together with the Ministry of Women’s Empowerment and Child Protection.
Ahead of the UN General Assembly 2024, WRA Indonesia gathered portraits of 150 young people making their demands in three secondary schools in Jakarta and Cilegon - watch this space for the public display of this beautiful artwork.
